Trauma and stress to the body is a leading cause of neck pain. But the most common cause of acute neck pain is whiplash, and if left untreated can lead into chronic neck pain. Chronic neck pain usually occurs due to untreated injuries and poor posture (ex. Sitting at a desk working on a computer 8 hours a day).

The speed of the impact does not predict the risk of whiplash injury. Any accident even minor “fender-benders” can cause serious conditions and issues. Arthritis is preventable. Although arthritis affects million, there is a drug-free alternative. Chiropractic adjustments correct misalignments of the body’s joint. When joints are misaligned, it causes stress on the joint. In response, motion is restricted, bone spurs form and tension on surrounding spinal cord and nerves occurs. As the bones wear out it interferes with and damages the nerves going to different organs of the body. A study in Journal of Medical Association concluded that height loss (≥3 cm) in older men is independently associated with an increased risk of all-cause mortality and coronary heart disease.
